The switch to digital television was a complete success. There was a few glitches here and there as 971 TV stations moved from analog broadcasts to digital signals.

FCC Commissioner, Jonathan Adelstein said “It’s looking more like Y2K than the Bay of Pigs.”

Consumers that do not use satellite or a cable service would have to install a converter box or get a digital television to be able to watch TV. There are more than 3 million households that were unprepared for the transition to the Digital Age. Im sure then will fork out some cash for a new TV set soon as they can’t watch their favorite shows.
