A Chinese Company named the Zhejiang 001 Group debuted car powered entirely by solar energy. The car stores solar panels on the roof that charge the battery enough for a 3 mile trip in with an hour of power. The car can travel up to 90 miles when fully charged at 30 hours in the sun. The car converts about 14-17 percent of the solar energy from the sun into electricity. The car is currently in production in China but you definitely wont see one anywhere near the states any time soon.
